Mr. Atif Bajwa has an extensive international career spanning over 40 years of executive leadership roles in banking and on multiple boards and public interest positions. He started his professional journey with Citibank in 1982 and has since held numerous senior positions in large local and multinational banks, including President/CEO of Bank Alfalah, President/CEO of MCB Bank and Soneri Bank, Regional Head of Citigroup for Central and Eastern Europe, Head of Consumer Banking of ABN AMRO’s Asia Pacific region, and Country Manager of ABN AMRO Pakistan.

Mr. Ariful Islam recently retired as Deputy CEO of Meezan Bank after 25 years of service. A founding team member since 1998, he played a key role in transforming the bank from a small startup into Pakistan’s 4th largest and most profitable bank. He began his career at Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) in London, then joined Faysal Islamic Bank of Bahrain in 1986. He later helped establish Faysal Bank in Pakistan and held senior leadership roles, followed by a position as Head of Investment Banking at MCB, becoming its youngest Senior EVP.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
